Polokwane, Limpopo – The Limpopo Tourism Agency is hosting a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Empowerment Workshop for persons with disabilities and military veterans today at the LEDA Auditorium, LTA Offices in Polokwane.

The workshop forms part of the Agency’s commitment to advancing transformation, inclusive economic participation and improved access to procurement opportunities for designated groups.
Led by LTA Senior Manager, Mr Malothane, the session provides participants with practical guidance on the Agency’s supply chain management processes, procurement requirements, compliance matters and opportunities available within the public procurement environment.

The initiative seeks to ensure that persons with disabilities and military veterans are adequately informed and empowered to participate in procurement opportunities and the broader economic value chain.
LTA recognises that meaningful transformation requires more than creating opportunities; it also requires ensuring that targeted groups have access to the information and knowledge necessary to participate effectively. The workshop therefore provides an important platform for engagement, information sharing and capacity building.

The SCM Empowerment Workshop coincides with the Agency’s Women’s Month commemoration at The Ranch Resort, further demonstrating LTA’s commitment to creating an inclusive institution and tourism economy that recognises and supports women, persons with disabilities, military veterans and other designated groups.
Through initiatives of this nature, LTA continues to contribute towards government’s broader transformation agenda while ensuring that economic opportunities associated with tourism and public procurement are accessible to a wider section of society.
